At SG Mart, we place the highest emphasis on quality to ensure our TMT bars meet and exceed national and international standards. Leveraging the technical excellence of APL Apollo’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and SG Mart’s market expertise, we implement a rigorous quality assurance system across every stage of production and distribution.

In-House Testing Equipment

Our manufacturing partners utilize advanced, fully equipped in-house laboratories featuring:

  • Universal Testing Machines (UTM):
    For measuring tensile strength, yield strength, and elongation.
  • Chemical Testing Labs:
    To ensure chemical composition meets the exact requirements of IS 1786:2008, especially for low levels of carbon, sulfur, and phosphorus.
  • Bend & Re-Bend Test Facilities:
    Used to validate ductility and resilience of the bars under deformation.
  • Spectrometers & Metallurgical Microscopes:
    For deep analysis of microstructure, ensuring superior consistency in material properties.

These in-house facilities are fully integrated within the production lines at our TMT manufacturing unit, which operates across 12 World Class TMT Manufacturing Unit. With 11 franchise locations and a state-wide availability across 17 States, we are strategically positioned in major industrial hubs, including Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Goa, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Agra, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Kerala,  Uttarakhand, and Punjab.

Quality Control Processes

APL Apollo SG Mart implement a multi-layered quality control system that includes:

  • Raw Material Quality Checks:
    Only high-grade billets with consistent composition are selected.
  • Process Audits at Every Stage:
    Each step — from induction melting to quenching, rolling, and cooling — is monitored using automated control systems.
  • Online Monitoring & Testing:
    Continuous inline quality checks are performed to ensure uniformity in dimensions, rib patterns, and surface finish.
  • ISI & ISO Certified Protocols:
    All TMT bars are manufactured under ISI Certification (IS 1786) and in compliance with ISO standards, ensuring reliability and standardization across batches.
  • Batch-Wise Documentation & Traceability:
    Each batch is cataloged and traceable, ensuring transparency and accountability from manufacturing to delivery.
